OSC Wildcard pattern-matching

Post by Macciza » 22 Feb 2012 11:47

Hi
Unless I am missing something it seems that OSC Pattern-matching wildcards are not implemented.
It would be great to be able to able to use them as they are a valuable part of OSC's strength

'?' Matches one character, '*' Matches anything , {1,3,5} matches any element , [16-32] Range of values

Lemur as an OSC server should be able to deal with these appropriately -

Cheers

+1

especially for Resolume and their clip adressing e.g. /layer1/clip4/name --> trigger: /layer[0-9]/clip[0-9]/name
RegEx would be great :)
