What is CCELL?
CCELL is a set of 8 control changes, each controller number and MIDI channel can be defined by the user.
Each controller is connected to a modulation system with individual settings for waveform (sine, triangle, saw, pulse) mod rate , mod amount. All these settings are stored in 16 slots, for later use.
The template does not require any additional software, use this template with your MIDI equipment (hardware / software).

Update CCELL 1.1.04 |||||||||||||||||| 03/16/2011

- Added Sine and Pulse waveforms
- Controller number are now stored with presets (works with copy/paste too)
- Added a signal scope.
- Some changes on UI texts.

CCELL1.0

Features:

- Separate template for Jazzmutant Lemur.

- Wave Select : Triangle, Ramp.
- Output; Lineal, Exponential.
- Modulation Restart (can be restarted via Note On messages).
- Modulation OFF-ON.
- Controllers Cell.
- Controllers Scale.
- Modulation Rate.
- Modulation Rate Scale.
- Modulation Amount (Bipolar).
- Modulation Amount Scale.
- CC Send OFF-ON.
- Fixed 16 Step Grid OFF-ON.
- Actions Router.
Actions:
- Invert.
- Randomize.
- Clear.

Hello, really cool template. This is something i have been wanting to make for a long time but sadly lack the programming skills.
Would you mind making a brief video tutorial or perhaps a little explanation of a few things.

For starters could you please explain what the action router does?

Could you also explain the midi out controller assignments bit as well?

thanks in advance.

Olly

ps any chance of adding sine, and square waves too?

Hey Kraft, 1000errors,

Thanks for the cumpliments!
For starters could you please explain what the action router does?
Sure, I can try, they simply enable/exclude some modules from Action Triggers buttons (INVERT,RND,CLEAR), take a look to small 1,2,3,4,5 numbers, 1 is Wave Select, 2 is output, 3 Controllers, 4 Mod Rate, 5 Mod Amount, for example turn ON all router leds, then press RND button, that will generates random values for all these modules. Other example, turn on ONLY router led #5, then press CLEAR button, it will reset Modulation Amount section only.
Could you also explain the midi out controller assignments bit as well?
it's the window for controller and channel setup, top menus allows you to select the midi channel for every bar of "CONTROLLERS" MultiSlider.

8 Leds under Channel menus allows you select the cc number. click over one of top leds, then select the cc number from grid leds.
ps any chance of adding sine, and square waves too?
These are in my list indeed ! ;) also like S&H, I didn't before because it requires some re-coding and UI changes, just stretched the work from lemur so far, but I will work on this, now we got tons of lemur memory, butI like to keep jzlib size small (max 10%).

Also CC numbers saved with memory slots if somebody wants this feaure, also could be added?

Hope that helps, if doesn't, let me know.
Thanks,
Antonio.

Antonio, great work! :)

You fit so many features into small templates.
I appreciate the work flow you have created in the design with the lines connecting
elements. For me these templates that you release continue to be good to learn from.
And more than that good sound design tools.

So thank you very much for sharing.
cheers~

Hey Analog,

Thanks a lot for the kind words man!

Great to know you find them useful to learn, I would like to be more participative on forums too, but there some user like Macciza are making a great job already. So to me, sharing is the best way I've found to supoort the new user library.

Regarding CCELL, I got already added the pulse and sine waveforms, so I will upload it soon, stay tuned! ;)

Cheers,
AB

Hey Guys,

Got a update adding some things, if you guys want to go testing it, you'll find attached, I need still to work on lemur legacy patch, so I will wait to upload it to UL.

Here the changes:

- Added Sine and Pulse wave
- Control changes assignments are stored with presets now. (works for copy/paste too)
- Added a signal scope to show the selected wave and modulations settings.
- Some re-coding.

To select one of 4 available waves:

Under "Modulation Wave Select" you will see a column with 8 leds with waveform names at top.

Make click repeatedly over any led to select its waveforn, the current order is SIN,TRI,SAW,PULSE.
Every waveform has assigned a color (based on grayscale) how you can see in the image.

Signal Scope:

- Pressing the ALT button will show you a Signal Scope object (at the right side), it follows the wave clicked in "Modulation Wave Select". then try moving other controls like Controllers, Mod Rate & Amount to watch what is happening there. If you're familiarized with synths and modulation matrices sure this is easy for you ;)

I think that's all, if you guys find any bug, would be hugely appreciated if you can let me know to fix it.

Cheers,
AB
