tethering faders?

Post by apacherose105 » 22 May 2017 00:47

is there a way of making redundant faders across the pages of a lemur template? Say I want the same fader on two pages and want them to retain the same value between the two, even on the same page?

just bumping this one to see if anyone has any ideas.

The idea for this is that I have the same Lemur Project going on two or three Ipads. Is there any way to have all of the same fader within the project move when i adjust one of them?

Lemur can send and receive on 8 different virtual ports, so you can use one port only for receiving messages from other iPads (this could also be done with one port and different MIDI channels, but I find it better to use multiple ports). To prevent unwanted MIDI feedback you will need to stop sending MIDI from the fader that is receiving data, which can be accomplished with the z (touch) variable. In other words, the fader will only send data (x variable) if z==1.
