The .jar installer says I already have LiveControl loaded in this directory and it will overwrite anything there, no matter what part of the LIVE folder I tell it to put it in. I even made a new folder to put it in.
Is this normal? I haven't installed it before. I don't want to overwrite something native in LIVE. Any thoughts?

yes this is normal im afriad. its because the installer checks for the presence of the live directory rather than the midi remote scripts dir which obviously already exists (you've got live installed!). Should be fine to hit continue
