ST8 PLEASE HELP!!! Pads and keys only work...

Im running windows 7 and ableton live 8.2.2. I thought I everything installed correctly but the only thing that works is the pads and keys. Others seem to be having the same problem but I cant find a solution.

I have the same problem... It's as if communication to the ipad isn't working. I have no red box in Ableton but if I select a device in ableton I am able to trigger sounds using pads and keys. That's all I can do.

The set doesn't update in the grid view etc. Any help is appreciated. I've wasted 15 quid on touchable which just crashes ableton so I was hoping this would be the solution.
