Live control 1 with Ableton live 9 (windows 7 64 bit)

I was using live control successfully in live 8, then I upgraded to 9. Reinstalled LC (3-9-13 update), got the keys/pads working and the box shows. Can move the box, but then I go to another page and nothing. I go back to launcher and the box won't move anymore, clips show titles/colors but won't launch. Restarted several times. I've got a show soon and would rather run live 9 cause I've added things to my songs. I have lemur but still waiting for LC2. It might be a moot point for me, but does anyone have any ideas on what might be going on?
