Pleasse add suport for images

Please, please million times, add support for any kind of image formats,
it would make my life a lot easier.
Android and i..something machines aren't that slow or lacking on memory to have Lemur loaded with images.
Not to mention that skins designed in it would look waay better.
This is great app, but it just needs a little kick to be undisputable king of touch controllers.

If anyone is interested, i've found a solution.
It's not tested, it's undocumented, and i dunno how many people knows about it, and if i'm allowed to disclose it, but Lemur can project png files.
Two years ago i've found one function in binary that lemur uses to draw gui and is exposed to canvas, which means you can use it to draw backgrounds and simmilar from png. Soon i will release small demo in template section. Stay tuned.

Okay, tried this out and can't seem to get it to work. Crashes the editor, despite having edited the file to reflect the path to the image.

Lemur 5.3.4 Windows 10 Pro 64bit.

Maybe I'm not entering the path correctly - a working example would be great, thanks. :)

Hi Joe,

hm, example should work out of box without any editing.
As this is not fully implemented in final app, there is no 'safety net' when app doesn't find image where it should be.
This is most probably why you have crash, but as i said i cannot be sure.
The important thing is to have image located inside Rumel folder (in your Skins folder). For eg. C:\Program Files (x86)\Liine\Skins\Rumel.

Right, so initially I missed the part about placing the Rumel directory (with image file, naturally) into the Skins directory - totally my own fault!

I can confirm this works - great job Denoiser and thank you very much for sharing! :)

Also works for colour images, FYI.

excellent. Thank you very much denoiser. I knew that there is some kind of bitmap support since I saw a video where there was an Endorphines logo painted into a Lemur template, but that was some time ago, maybe a year ago or longer. Now the veil is lifted.

Hi DB.

I'm having issues. Have gotten the image to display in the editor, my own images no problem.
However, the android's themselves don't display the image. (using Odroids, although I expect it shouldn't matter)

Any ideas where I am going wrong, or what I might be missing?
