Hello,
OSX Mavericks, Ableton 9.1, Live Control 2.1.
Lemur Daemon: everything allright, Daemon Input 0, Daemon Output 0
iPad: everything allright, MIDI from daemon output 0, to Daemon Input 0
Live: Surface Control: Live Control 2.1, Input Daemon Input 0, Output Daemon Output 0; Input: LiveControl_2_1 (Daemon Input 0) Track: On
Output: LiveControl_2_1 (Daemon Output 0) Sync: On
Ok. Everything seems correct. I can load projects without problems with Lemur Editor in Lemur App and sync. They work also.
But when I open Live Control 2.1 in iPad, nothing works: can´t see clips, neither instruments, neither M4L devices. And if I press buttons like "Play" or whatever in iPad, it sends... MIDI notes!
What is wrong here? The same problem in Macbook Pro Retina and MacPro.
Thank you very much in advance and best regards.
LC2 doesn´t work
Re: LC2 doesn´t work
LC2 is known to NOT work with 9.1 yet. Sounds like they are working on it. I too am waiting patiently while using 9.06
Re: LC2 doesn´t work
yet, i told liine since 9.1 beta 18 that live control 2 doesn't work. they know that (i think , cause they talked about it on their facebook), just have to wait .
but you know, live project on 9.1 and 9.0.6 are compatible for .als .Then i go on live 9.0.6 for performance or automation control with live control 2 and i use the bi-monitoring new capacity of live 9.1 for composing...that pretty ok.......hope i will not have to do that for 6 month ...

Re: LC2 doesn´t work
Thank you. And how do you use 9.0.6 at same time that 9.1? I don´t know how.
Re: LC2 doesn´t work
Sorry, I mean, in the same computer?
Re: LC2 doesn´t work
ok.
first it's possible to run multiple sessions of live. just have to select this option in preferences (of course one will be slave of the other and it is connected in rewire mode)
second install both live 9.1 and live 9.0.6 on the same computer.
just have to name differently the installation directory and the shortcut
...on windows...
i suppose it should not be more complicate on mac
then you will be able to use both alternatively without problem
