Live Control 2 not updating.

I have requested my last post be removed...this is an updated summary of my issues.

First the good points:

I have LC2 running. Connected over WiFi, with Daemon. Latency is good. Play section seems to be fully working.

Project is only one channel, running Analog. System is MBP i7, Ableton 8.2.1

Now for the Problems:

LC2 does not update devices, clips or effects when i add them to my project. Nothing is viewable on my ipad.

Faders, mute, solo etc do not respond at all.

The arrow keys to scroll around the Launch section, play notes from the synth on the channel i have selected...i can still scroll around using the scroll bars...but the arrows seem to be mapped to midi notes.

At the moment, LC2 is simply a scalable keyboard, which is a shame as i specifically bought Lemur for LC2. £35 is quite a lot for a scalable keyboard.

Hopefully someone might get back to me to help with my issues. As yet i have had no reply from Liine or ST8. I have posted on the Live Control site, this site, and directly to Liine's support email. Not hugely impressed with the support offered at the moment.

Any help will be gratefully received.

You need Ableton Live 8 latest version - 8.2.1 is most likely not supported as the API had some major changes on a subsequent version (8.2.2 I think).
On Ableton's website the latest version of Live 8 seems to be 8.4.1

Hi there,

I have the very same problem as original poster.
I use Live Suite 9.04 on mac, osx 10.8.3.

Everything is set up right.
I have a Live set opened with in session view, 2 clips in an audio track.
Live control 2 doesnt see the 2 clips, the launch section is completely empty.
Only keyboard works for me in LC 2.

I was having the same problem. Most if not all sysex messages weren't being passed through loopMIDI. Updating to the latest version of loopMIDI fixed the problem.

I am having this same problem. I am running on a mac and the latest gen ipad. Everything has been setup properly, but after a few minutes playing around and everything working fine nothing updates. Transport controls are active, but they don't refresh, I can no longer select a clip to access the sequencer view, and when I add additional tracks they do not appear. HELP!
