I have a windows machine and When i start live control there is no where to select "from LiveControl 1" in the "MIDI Port" drop down menu. It only lists Microsoft Synthasizer and microsoft gs wavetable synth.
A friend has a macbook pro and i can connect my ipad to his computer and there are two options in the "midi port" drop down menu that lists "from livecontrol 1" and "from livecontrol 2" once connected i have total control of all functions in ableton.
I should also tell you that inside of ableton preferences on the PC there is a LIVE CONTROL TO that i can select but the input box wont let me select anything and the output says GS wavetable synth.
Any ideas why the PC doesnt work and the MAC does, please dont say "because PCs suck"
Thanks for your help in advance.

Live Control not showing up in midi port
Re: Live Control not showing up in midi port
Hi
Have you actually installed the LiveControl remote script?
Check the install/setup info - Sounds like it is missing . . . .
