I am having the same problem others have discussed. I am running Ableton Live 8.x Lite, TouchOSC on iPad/iPhone and Windows 7.
I can control live with TouchOSC on port 5000, but cannot control TouchOSC from Live/LiveControl on port 5001.
I don't think firewall / networking issues are at play, because I can use TouchOSC with Reaper on those same ports. The situation is reversed though, as Reaper controls TouchOSC on 5001 but TouchOSC does not control Reaper on 5000.
Reaper allows the ports to be selected manually, so I can fix this issue by picking a different pair of ports. Is there a way to do this in Live / LiveControl? I see that the LiveControl scripts define ports 4000/4001. I don't know how that gets mapped to 5000/5001. In any case, if there is some issue with specific ports, as there seems to be, can I just define a different pair?
