help me please with livecontrol

i'm new to the whole touchosc/ipad/ableton setup. so far everything has been going fine until its time to load the "livecontrol TO" control surface into ableton's midi preferences. it doesnt show up at all, even though when i go to ableton>package contents>etc.etc.>midi remote scripts the livecontrol_TO folder is there along with all the other remote scripts! i'm not sure why ableton won't pick it up in the control surfaces. please help //:
