other controllers don`t work while using live control

Hi,

I`m using live control with windows and it works brilliantly.
However when I am connected to live control, ableton does not receive any signals from my other usb midi controller.
I have messed around with the MIDI settings but still can`t get it to work.
My situation is the following:

I use, windows XP sp3,
CPU: Dual Core 2ghz
RAM:4GB
enough hard disc space left.
Ableton live 8.2.2
DJ-Teck MIX-101
TouchOSC, live control on ipad2
Live Control connected through Midi York.

1. all live control functions works fine.
2. midi controller works fine when I`m not using live control. But it doesn`t have a control map?(e.g. live control TO, APC40... in the drop list of control surface.
3. I can assign keyboard controls fine. with live control on
3. when connected to live control, the Midi indicator in ableton does not detect any signal at all. when not, it does.

I would really like to be able to use both controllers at the same time, so that I can fiddle control the effects and so on while using the launcher on my ipad.

Any comment is appreciated.

Ok, lets make it simple.

Is it possible to use live control together with any other midi controller at all?
