LiveOSC Not Receiving OSC

Hello,
I have downloaded Live OSC and placed the folder in Midi Remote Scripts. LiveOSC is selected as the control surface in Ableton. I have installed Python 2.7, and it hasn't worked, so I uninstalled it and installed Python 2.5, and it is still not working, so Python isn't the problem. I wrote a simple Android app that sends the OSC message "/live/play" to port 9000. I have used pure-data to make sure I am receiving this message, and I am, so the OSC message is getting to my computer. However, Ableton isn't "seeing" the OSC message. Am I skipping a step? Do I need to run some sort of middle-man app to receive OSC messages?
