Issue LiveControl_iPad.touchosc template

Hi ST8,

When opening the LiveControl_iPad.touchosc template in the TouchOSC editor, text and colour should be visible, but I only see grey launchpads.

Consequently when I load it into the iPad, I see also grey pads, no red selection ring is available.
However my keys and drumpads send MIDI to Ableton Live.
I'm using MBP OSX10.5.8, touchOSC 1.42.
Please could you assist me getting this work properly.

The template should look like that before it talks to ableton. Have you installed the midi remote script using the .jar installer? If so have you selected the midi remote script in Live?

Done, .jar installed, however without prompting for Live directory!

Unable to Select LiveControl_TO from the control surfaces list.
(If I understood correctly from the forum, this is known and no issue).
Leave MIDI In/Out ports empty. Make sure the MIDI port you selected above is enabled. Done!

I've tried setup several times, unfortunately still no success.
Do you exactly mean with selecting the midi remote script in LIVE?
No LiveControl_TO available the control surfaces list, as mentioned above.

Let me know which details you need further..

This is the problem I have but I can select live controlTO it's all installed correctly and works as a clip launcher but device and clip names don't show up and the recording arm toggles do not work

I had a post up which I see has been deleted

I have max and everything where are all the device and clip labels ??????
