I have a project where it looked like only Lemur could fulfill the requirements.
Unfortunately I overlooked the Sysex 256 byte limitation. So I may have purchased too quick. But that's my fault.
So, although I joined the forum to discuss my project, I now have to ask another question:
Does the 256 byte limitation apply to both sending and receiving Sysex? Or does it only apply to receiving Sysex? If it does apply to both, is their a way to send multiple Sysex messages to extend the limit as long as the first starts with F0 and the last ends with F7?
Hope there is a solution to my problem, because my project definitely needs to send large Sysex messages and Lemur looks very promising. Would be too bad if this is the only reason I can't proceed with my project.
