My goal is to map the virus power core.
I'm a beginner at synthesis but I know what kind of sounds I'd like to create with the virus and how to employ it as part of my live set.
I'm using ableton, MainStage and vienna ensemble pro to process an acoustic guitar (nylon) with very good pre amps and pick ups.
My focus is on evolving sounds, textures and IR reverbs for the guitar effects as well as midi produced tracks.
I'd like to map the main features of the virus to a macro style interface where I can control many features with fewer sliders and knobs.
Firstly I'd like to sort out patch management and am currently trying to assign the parts of the virus to menu buttons on the lemur editor (iPad version).
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
