K I thought to finalize this and post it as a module!

Usage: tap on "program change" button - a pop up numpad appears, you type the desired Program Change to be sent. The dialed Program Change number is displayed on the "Send" button. Tap Reset to re-dial desired Program Change - tap send to send it. The sent Program Change (therefore the current one) is now displayed on the "Program Change" button - tap it to close the pop up.

Configure: to configure the midi target and the midi channel of sent messages look in PCDial.Dials.out custom midi message.
You can set the pop up numpad to be automatically closed after sending the Program Change message (after tapping "Send").
PCdial.autohide custom expression set to 1 enables autohide - set to 0 disables it.

Decided to add a litle something - quick -,+ buttons that automatically send the program change without the need to open the pop up numpad.

seems to be out by one digit...

how about typing 3 digits instead of 2?

any chance of making it quicker to react, instead of the buttons slowly fading out?

and could it be made to work with pre defined patch names added to the numbers?

Is it possible to add +1 to every Number?
At this point:
0=1
1=2
2=3.... and so...
It would be nice:
1=1
2=2.....

128=128
129= Bank Select plus #1

Re: slow response - some VST plug ins simply crash if you fire at them Program Change messages too fast

Re: numbering....it works as expected, Program Change 0 always selects preset 1.
