Song Position jumps to other value

I have a question about the message F2 - Song position.
I need to go/point to an exact position in my arrangement.

If I enter (scale) 2000 it jumps to 2015 for example. 1000 jumps to 1007. Is this normal behaviour?

Or do you need to fill in an exact number for example with a simple script and does anybody know how to do that?
