hi

i'm attempting to connect my iPad to laptop via USB (i haven't done this before). in the lemur editor on the MacBook, i'm getting a connection failed error: 'unable to connect, host myst be busy. please check destination address and retry'. i've quit all applications except lemur(iPad) and the lemur editor (MacBook), and turned off the wifi on the iPad (the wifi connection is working). i'm using a USB to thunderbolt 3 adapter to connect to the MacBook. any advice is much appreciated!

i should first make sure that i can in fact communicate via OSC with a USB connection with iOS (without jailbreaking). can someone verify this for me?

Yes it functions if you go trough a Lightning-to-USB adapter and a USB-to-Ethernet adapter and have an Ethernet port on your computer. Really good for OSC.
