OK, starting to get desperate.
My iPads have been ENORMOUSLY unstable when running various music-related apps in background mode.
In an effort to get to the bottom of this, I've done something I should have done a long time ago.
Running the unix 'top' command (think windows process monitor, or mac activity monitor) in a terminal on a jailbroken
iPad Mini2 on iOS 9.3.3

With NO OTHER APPS LOADED, and with a NEW, EMPTY TEMPLATE, DOING NOTHING, Lemur is using 20% of a 1.3gHz A7 ?????

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?????

Please tell me this is a problem with my installation, etc. that I can somehow fix...

With a template & a few other apps loaded:

usually I run Lemur only. In general it's just a question of how many Canvas and Knob objects I use in a template. So far it hasn't really been an issue with CPU, even with an iPad2. And I run rather 'heavy' Lemur templates. Actually the iPad2 may perform even better because its display has lower resolution compared to retina iPads.

Your findings are interesting indeed, but in the end these are just numbers. At your place, during a music project, does Lemur crash?
