Post by Shamk » 18 Apr 2016 19:47

Old subject, same issue

Replace the video driver with the latest one and updated directx, reinstalled lemur ... nothing seems to matter ... :cry:
Even the deamon does not run at startup ...

Hi,

i had the exactly the same issues...

so how did i solve it?
To be honest i don't know it exactly, i even reinstalled windows and replaced the graphic card(now it is a Radeon 5770).
I got some weird directx errors, tried a lot of different graphic driver versions. I thought the MOBO causes the graphic clitches, not sure though...

Now there is no issue(i am not aware of a significant change by myself...), you can try to maximize the window that worked every time.

After reinstalling on a fresh new VM, i could not let it go ...

Found the source of the issue : A FRAKING BAD REGISTRY ENTRY !!!! :evil:

Remove this entry (run > regedit ) and it solve all my problems :

0 - kill all lemur process
1 - run > regedit
2- delete this [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\JazzMutant\JazzEditor]
3- launch again

and it's back !!! :mrgreen:

To be more precise, the worng entry is the "Window" key !

Corrupted entry

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\JazzMutant\JazzEditor]
"Window"=hex:a0,00,00,00,fb,01,00,00,00,0f,00,00,c0,03,00,00

Correct entry

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\JazzMutant\JazzEditor]
"Window"=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,f2,06,00,00,7e,04,00,00

This is very helpful! I am having this same issue and I was just about to try and fix it, but I'm confused, there are 3 posts in a row with what I gather are different actions to perform?

Which action should I perform?

Thanks
