with iOS 8 approaching (Fall 2014) where MIDI over bluetooth is said to be possible natively, without special apps like Apollo, I thought it would be a nice and quite new addition to Lemur. Editor connection, MIDI, OSC, all via bluetooth 4.
I don't know about the advantages. They say it is better than Wifi. Maybe still not better than a wired connection, especially for MIDI clock. But it could be a good idea. What do you think? What do the developers think about it? Is there already something in the works? I imagine it would be quite a change, and would take some time to implement. But if the advantages are real, then it would be worth the effort I guess.
