indeed Lemur runs on Andy virtual Android OS on a Windows computer. This is a great new opportunity, however I couldn't connect from the editor to Lemur yet. Lemur can see the MIDI ports, but doesn't appear in the editor connection list. How do you transfer templates into Lemur?

Andy has network, I can download images for a new wallpaper, but the editor-lemur connection is not there.

edit: one can put a jzml into the user/Andy folder, then load it with the file explorer into Lemur.

or you can type the lemur ip manually into the editor connection dialog box, it works also

good advice, thank you. It works, and I can also send templates to an iPad which doesn't appear in the list (on that specific wifi network). Cool.

If so, can we connect Lemur via virtual midi cable directly to vst's that run on the PC ??

good idea, but I rather doubt if the Android emulator can see these virtual ports. I'll try this out next time.

It's a new territory for me, and I'm still not sure if it is worth the effort. I use cheap touchscreen monitors (in general as a second monitor) to control plugins, which is not ideal because most plugins aren't optimised for touch input, but it works somehow. Saves me the time to build a Lemur template for each plugin or situation.
