parameter entry in 'color picker'

Post by TffShtt » 06 Jul 2013 08:17

Colors in lemur are like a shot in the dark...*please* implement hex or RGB parameter entry in the 'color picker'...the current method for color selection is in praxctice blind. If a number is entered via script there is no visual color feedback; if picked from the 'color picker' (whose accuracy is only slightly improved when using RGB or HSV modes) there is no numerical feedback.

Also: Color sets in the 'color picker' are nice, but why do they disappear if the skin is changed?
definitely didn't need an iPud until I found Lemur

Indeed a shot in the dark! I always set up a monitor object to get the "color" numerical value of an object if I want to script coloring and still keep the exact same colors I used with the color picker. You just have to set up the monitor object to look for 'color' (or 'colors' depending on the object) attribute.
