Is there a MU device controller for 3rd party synths and fx

Post by djadonis206 » 25 Dec 2011 19:20

Im looking for a device controller for 3rd party synths and effects to use with/inside of Mu. Does one exist? All I can control are Live devices, which is great but I'd like to control some of my more interesting effects

Thanks

Hey,
MU can only Control Ableton devices...,
But you can Route functions of 3rd Party devices to Macros in ableton and Control these Macros (8 knobs) with MU.

Hope that helps

Hi
Actually, if you own Max and MaxForLive you can make up Mu interfaces that control AU's or VSTs . . .
Demo included with Mu - Further info available in the Mu manual . . .
Cheers

Curious - once I make a lemur device and the associated .maxpat how do I connect it to the plug in I want to control.

For example, I'd like to control the Macro knobs in Massive so I made a massive device. But how does the lemur device know to connect to control massive.

The manual is very brief but helpful

Thanks

Also, is an overdub button in the works or is that something that can be easily added
