Incredible! L'Pad is brilliant, but this looks even better. What an amazing platform Lemur is when talented people do their 'magic'.

Does beg the question, if one clever guy can come up with stuff like this in a matter of days/weeks what's holding up LC2 that (I'm guessing) has a team of clever folk working on it?

I do hope you share this template - it would certainly be a 'Premium Template'!

I have some major concerns about ableton's response if i share this template. which is a shame as it works exactly as the hardware. although the displays not quite 100% due to size restrictions and lemur. all i can say is its easy to develop all the info is available online see links here http://forum.liine.net/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=3089
its so efficient i have managed to squeeze the l'pad on, as well as 2 zoomed in interfaces ( larger 64pad only/performance version + a 16pads with velocity and aftertouch version), i guess theres nothing more that can be done. its the dogs bollox in live controllers
and ive only got 20 days of the sodding demo left.......ah well
oh by the way liine :-could do with the minimum sizing of the multiball object reducing , when using to generate velocity and aftertouch , thats why i could only do 16 pads with velocity and AT

Forgive my ignorance, why would Ableton have a problem with your Push like template? Surely no different to the L'Pad template or any of the other templates here that emulate hardware devices.

I think, at the pages where the new midi remote scripts are shared, it is clearly noted that sharing those scripts, is in fact not illegal.

Consequently, as many people "bypass" legal problems, it would be sufficient to just not mention anywhere "Push" in your project, and use the same scripts and just release it. Kind of a moot point though, isnt it? Why be hypocritical after all...it is what it is.

And frankly, even though, functionally, a Lemur emulation may seem like its "stealing" from Push glory, I really don't think that anyone who would be set to buy Push would be satisfied with a touch screen equivalent. Real hardware, real knobs and real buttons are a thing of their own - the functions may be duplicated on a touch screen but the feel is miles away so I dont think we have, lets put it this way, competing products.

Whatever the case though, the final decision burdens the creator, Wul, and not us!

It's the remote script mod that's required that is the problem. I have sought advice . All of which was non committal . There is a disclaimer within the scripts . Which reserves the right to deny non commercial usage . If I was them in this case I would deny usage
Quite frankly I don't want the hassle

L'Pad didn't need any modified scripts .
