I have a working launchpad emulator for live in progress. i have one channel that handshakes with the launchpad edition of live succesfully, and updates everything just like the hardware.
more testing to do and a fair bit of copying and pasting as it is on single pads
it would be far better on 64 multipads with the paint option used
it could then be actually better than the real thing

This is great stuff! I already have a Launchpad but I would certainly use it ! Tried to do the same but I suck at scripting! :p

Cool! Thats the thing - all M4L patches for Launchpad are loaded on user2! You cant have more than one - with this thing here, you can!

This is awesome cant wait till you release. This could be a life saver I have two launcpads and use them all the time at home but with my portable rig I use for writing consists of two iPads and nanopad need this would be awesome. I'd also be willing to test out I use all the sonic faction sequencers for max for live I also have used midi translator in conjunction with a foot controller to use launchpad with a foot controller I set the foot controller to work as button presses so I can launch clips with pedal so I can record clips while playing guitar.
