@Macciza : Velocity/x and offset/x do nothing when handled by Lemur.

Sorry about that - note to self : Always test before posting . .

Heres a version that works though needs more work depending on requirements.

This adds two number boxes for Velocity and NoteLength and implements bi-directional control

It expects Raw data for the parameters- /Offset/x 0 - 11, /Velocity/x 0 - 127 , and /NoteLength/x is 10 - 250 (arbitrary limit)

Note there is no mechanism to sequence these parameters in this patch - the object used for note sequence does not lend itself easily to doing so . . .

Just thought I would add that the UI elements in the M4L patch are really just for 'debugging' purposes
There should be no need to actually use them, thats what we have Lemur for after all . . .
I am undecide as to whether they should even be there - if they aere they should be bi-directional

Also, @W as I mentioned earlier I think it is better to talk explicit values wherever possible.
This makes the OSC exchange more 'natural' - you send what you mean ie 127 not 1 as you are doing.
Get Lemur to send the range of values you want rather than having Max interpret the normalised 0-1 value.
If the data suits the 0/1 or 0-1 range than certainly use it as in the case of logic operations and percentages.

Hello Macciza, thx for that very good explanation.
I did it this way all the time but it doesn't work on my machine
then I deleted the mfl file and template redownloaded, installed and (don't ask me why) it works as it should

I'm having this problem with Win7 X64...I can send the template to my ipad via lemur editor but not with m4l device. Also, I can manually set up and get a 1-way connection but playing with the steps doesn't send anything to Ableton.

I tried redownloading the template even, still doesn't work. Anybody fix this issue yet?

Same issue for me, win7 x64. I can connect fine to Lemur using the editor and even use it from ableton as a midi controller but M4L plugin won't detect the device even when I input the correct ip. I tried uninstalling M4L and re-download the installer and ambivalent beats but still the same. Firewall is disabled and the editor is working fine so it has to be something M4L side.

I'm loving this, great but of kit. I'm looking for two small tweaks though, the addition of the offset slider to scroll through samples. Plus, once I have notes playing the sample selector on the left should change colour, as it can be confusing trying to remember. Not bothered about velocity or anything like that, anyone able to help?

Ps I am hopeless with M4L and Lemur scripting.

would really love to use the template, any ideas?

the exact problem is, autoamtic scan doesnt work, when i connect manually with the ip i get a clock to the ipad, but no actions, when i activate steps with the mouse nothuing happens on the ipad and also nothing from ipad to ableton.

So here is the colored spots on the sample selector.
Use last Macciza's maxpat that has been posted here. However I am still having problems in Live. I have to load at first the default maxpat in M4L and then load Macciza's version or else Ableton will crash.
