Hello!
Like you I'm very disappointed... I'm a daily user of Lemur...

It appears that Lemur is a 32bit app, and as I think, since Catalina don"t support 32bit apps anymore as announced, Lemur App is only compatible from past OS's to Mojave but not Catalina...
I fear doing the OSX update for this reason...
Well have to wait (or pray) for a update from Liine...

(Sorry for my English)
John.

We should know if they work on an update and if so when roughly the editor is supposed to work on Catalina (3 months / 6 months / never...).
The silence from Liine support is pathetic, as well as the OSX update for most audio applications.

Just to be clear, are you talking about the Jazz Editor from the original Lemur hardware device?
The Lemur Editor for the iOS/Android app is 64 bit.

That said: if you are reading this and have not yet updated to Catalina, I would advise all musicians (Lemur users or no) to not update to Catalina for quite some time.

Yes I'm talking about the original hardware..the lemur editor and daemon have both been rendered useless since updating yo Catalina

Lemur is a crucial part of my setup. Now that my MacBook pro is failing, I'll have to buy a new one.
New MacBook Pros ship with Catalina and cannot be downgraded. I won't be able to do gigs without lemur, as I've integrated it so deep into all of my gear and software.

So please update Lemur Daemon and editor to 64 bit for Mac OS X soon!

Lemur really is an awesome tool and there are no substitutes for it.
Thanks for all your work, and I hope you'll keep us posted about the update status.

Can anyone confirm that the most recent version of Lemur Daemon is working on Catalina? I see the above screen shot showing that it's a 64bit app, but has anyone tested it?

Neither the Editor nor the Daemon are working for me under MacOS Catalina 10.15.2 (late 2013 21.5 inch iMac). As the screenshot upthread indicates, they look like 64 bit apps, but viewing them in the Finder and trying to launch them yields this:

Hold the phone! I should have double checked that I had the latest versions installed on my Catalina system--turns out I only had 5.3.2. On installing 5.3.5 (helpfully linked to by midikinetics in this thread, both Editor and Daemon launch successfully!

Apologies for the misinformation. This is exciting for me--maybe I can upgrade my work computer to Catalina sooner than later.
