Making Lemur Link with Reason

Post by mouldi101 » 11 Dec 2011 12:36

Hi there,

I purchased Lemur the other day, but cannot for the life of me get it working with Reason. I've set up the Lemur Daemon as described in the manual (bluetooth), linked up the inputs and outputs, and set it up as a controller in Reason (I've used the auto-detect function to make sure it is receiving 'something').

The problem is though, not matter what I set up, it doesn't seem to affect the controls on the screen. I've been scouring through the (thrilling) midi implementation chart, but have no joy! I was wondering if there is something I had somehow gotten wrong?

Kind regards,

Andrew

Can you assign Lemur knob/fader to a Reason knob/fader, or neither that?

Nope!

Reason recognises it as a controller, and that it is sending data, but I've assigned the midi CC numbers to controls, and it doesn't seem to link up quite right!

A setting wrong perhaps?

Do you map it over "Edit Remote Override Mapping" ? (Right click over the unit you want to map)

If yes, be sure you have "Learn from Controll Surface Input" box checked.
