2 multisliders sharing 1 custom OSC address

Post by sheen » 16 Nov 2016 13:56

Is it possible for 2 multisliders to share the same custom OSC address? I have tried this and it doesn't seem to work. Each slider is in a different tab, I am giving them the address of '/SignalLevels/x' When I 1st make a copy of the original multislider and paste it, it seems to work. It is only when I re open the template that the copied multisliders don't react to incoming OSC.

I just made a quick mockup of this using max/msp and lemur and it's working fine. Maybe you forgot to save it or something?
Have you tried turning it off and on again?

you can use alias object instead of two different objects. Another option is to send the values of two different objects without output to one object (or better a variable) which sends the actual output.
