Basic information on creating presets

Hi folks
I'd love to learn how to save multiple states within a template
I'm working with a cut down version of the absynth+XY template that allows cc to be freely assigned to faders from a pop-up
simple example -
4 faders addressing a cc1, cc2, cc3, cc4 and a label "SEM" = template 1
4 faders addressing a cc14, cc21, cc26, cc28 and a label "Massive"= template 2
choose presets from a drop down menu
