This should be simple, but I'm spinning my tires...

Lemur on iPad, template has one fader, set to send MIDI CC7 via h/w MIDI port. Working fine.

iPod Touch has template with one fader, set to send either MIDI cc7 or OSC to iPad via CoreMIDI.

I can "move" the iPad fader w/ the iPod Touch fader via CoreMIDI or OSC, but the iPad will NOT send the corresponding MIDI cc7 out the h/w port unless the fader is activated via the iPad screen itself.

What is the trick???
