Encrypt your layout

Is it possible to encrypt the source in your lemur layout, or make it hidden? Or are there other possibilities?

In the past I have built a php algorithm that obfuscates the code but the ROI of the time spent maintaining the algorithm versus the profits acquired just didn't work out.
Plain and simple, your template is an xml file, either share it or don't.

We basically just put it out there and see what happens and hope that the extra functionality that our commercial templates offers plus the availability of prompt technical support is enough to make people pay.

Personally I think the idea of free anything is insane, but that's just me.
