Lemur Wiki Docs

We've just launched the Lemur Wiki Docs. For now this mainly covers connection methods and troubleshooting, as well as a list of Android devices that installed Lemur. We will make efforts to constantly maintain the wiki up to date, as well as progressively transfer the Lemur reference materials (objects, scripting).

Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions, feedback or comments!

Is this privately administered or publicly accessible?

Interested in ad hoc connections on windows, saw the link to connectify.me on this page: https://liine.net/wiki/lemur/connection ... he_network

But their site looks spam-my as hell...are they legit or will i get loaded with adware?

It's privately administered, but please do no hesitate to send in submissions or even suggestions for articles.

I know what you mean about the Connectify site, but it does work very well for getting the job done — i.e. managing the ad-hoc networks. We've had great results when we've tested it on our Windows machines.

Off topic, but i paid for a licence and ran it last Saturday, simple and solid.

Buyer beware though, I noticed they put me on a recurring paypal payment. Sleazy.

Huh? How do you even check for that? I thought it was a one time payment.

Is this something you guys are interested in maintaining? What about getting the community involved?

In theory, yes. In practice, unfortunately, other things have been a higher priority. The plan was to first transfer all the documentation from the old PDF manuals to the wiki, improving the copy along the way and adding details. For example, script arguments (MIDI_ARGS and OSC_ARGS) are extremely powerful and just barely mentioned. The next step would be to add tips and tricks, with small code examples.

Getting the community involved is an interesting idea, but I am concerned with how to manage spam bots and how to make sure that the wiki is regulated and accurate.
