As far as my issue with expression maps goes. That is how cubase seems to work. If the cc is used in the expression map it becomes "reserved" and no data can be passed from an external midi source through to the instrument unless you remove the cc output map from the output mapping of the expression map. Which IMO makes the expression map pretty much useless.
My support rep is sending it up the chain to see if that was intended.
