I'm trying to find a Lemur Scripting Guide, or at least a list of documented functions and uses.

Does one exist?

a list of commands/functions can be found in the editor itself, under "Internal". Very useful for quick reference. Then, the user manual has a couple of examples, and of course the Lemur and Jazzmutant forums have quite a number of examples and tutorials.

Once you grasp the syntax for attributes and expressions mentioned in the manual, which are the two main things you want to affect with scripting, then at the last pages of the manual there is a reference for all the expressions and attributes of each object.

It may also be worth reading some basic C programming stuff just to get an idea of applying logic ...

I also think that some basic object oriented programming can help in designing new compound objects

Finally look through various projects to see how others have done stuff and borrow the bits you need

Cheers

PS also just experiment, duplicate your interface and try things out, throw away if it fails...
