How to make a custom clip launcher

I've researched everywhere and maybe it's right under my nose...but I need to make a custom clip launcher for Ableton Live.
very much like this one that uses python scripts... http://liine.net/en/community/user-library/view/26/
i want to be able to see the names of the clips and populate the window with the #clips I choose.
unfortunately I can't get this one to work...It doesn't create the 'box outline' in Live.
I'm creating a custom DJ style mixer with launch window in Lemur any help would be much appreciated...thanks!
