Newbie: sysex checksums for waldorf

Post by Jaunmanuek » 04 Aug 2013 02:37

Hello,
I'm thinking to purchase lemur to remotely edit sysex on my waldorf rack attack.
However i need to know first if it does handle checksums automatically in order to set up a controller.

Also, can you create a sequencer with lemur ?

Thanks you

Hi Jaunmanuek,

did you get any information on the checksum for the RackAttack, sysex is ok on the waldorf Q as it ignores the checksum.

Cheers,
Martin.

I can answer one part of your question: You can definitely create a sequencer, in a lot of different ways!

Hi,

i have made a basic one way communication patch to control the Rack Attack, its more of a work in progress, i need to add the modulation source selections and the lfo, everything else is implemented tho.

Cheers,
Martin.
