Need help configuring two ipads in Lemur Daemon.

I'm experimenting, trying to use two iPads with logic and ableton(at different times obviously). I can't seem to configure the settings with lemur on iPad or the lemur daemon for the iPad mini to get it to work.
The iPad 3 settings work like a charm, but the mini(although the text isn't red or anything within the lemur ipad app, indicating there's no problem or conflict).
First world problem, I know. Any help would be appreciated.
