ipad 1 or ipad 2 for Lemur. Differences

Post by tedbow » 07 Mar 2012 21:28

Hi,
I am thinking about buying a used iPad for using Lemur. I was wondering people have experiences with differences between using the iPad 1 vs iPad 2 with Lemur. Do they both perform well? Was wondering if the physics engine would work better with the iPad 2's faster CPU? Is it worth spending the extra money?

Thanks for any feedback

I'd also like to know this....

Also if it's possible to smoothly multitask on iPad 1 or iPad 2 - I'd probably like to run Omnisphere's Touch Remote app at the same time as Lemur.

I have the same question. I am debating whether I should buy a used iPad 1 or buy a refurbished iPad 2 to run Lemur. Anyone have advice for us?

i have an iPad 2, i can multitask fine. lemur has never lagged for me, as opposed to stupid programs i've multitasked it with like words with friends, angry birds, and facebook (never during shows of course)

I'm running Lemur on all three iPad models and can barely tell the difference. The only real difference I notice is the iPad1 takes maybe a second or two longer to load a program.
