Re: best DAW for Lemur
Bidule looks like a poor man's version of Max. If you want to use something like this, use UDP send and receive objects and skip this. There are two things that could possibly be happening. Either Bidule is taking OSC and translating to midi (most likely) or it is taking OSC and communicating with t...

Re: best DAW for Lemur
Okay, so first of all relax man. I'm p sure nobody here isn't relaxed... Oldgearguy is a v talented Lemur user and in another thread I brought up this topic and even referenced an older thread that apparently destroyed this forum in 2013. I would hate to lose him as a resource since he is one of th...

Re: best DAW for Lemur
I feel like I stirred up something that probably is best buried deep in the forum - the fact that everyone comes here and says "can I haz free example plz?" and the debate over creating free content/content that cannot really be protected that adds value to a paid for application. I feel like if Lii...

Re: best DAW for Lemur
This might help you get started: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IgKwcCJsoz4 . Couldn't find official documentation of Ableton's API aside from this bit from Cycling '74 https://docs.cycling74.com/max5/refpages/m4l-ref/m4l_live_api_overview.html . Idk what your experience w/ scripting is, but APIs c...

Re: best DAW for Lemur
128 and 256 are always interesting numbers to come across - interesting in the sense that they tell you something is n-bit. I find this kind of surprising for a number of reasons. Someone mentioned in that reddit thread it was a limit of the MIDI protocol being only 8 bit... but what about using mul...

Re: NEWBIE NEEDS HELP FOR A VERY SIMPLE PROJECT !
Btw, search the forum for accelerometer instead of gyro. Also, force touch to my knowledge isn't supported. I don't think new features have been added in several years and force touch is p new as far as smart phones go.

Really? Can you point me to documentation of this? I hadn't run into this limitation before.freepuppies wrote:Ableton has a limit of MIDI parameters per device at like 256.

Ça va, Clément?
Most of what you're trying to do is pretty easy, even for a n00b. I haven't messed with the gyro before, but it's been on my radar for a while for my fork of Monemur. That's probably going to be the hardest part.

Re: Index in Switches Script
Was thinking about this... maybe could have two expressions that are arrays. When x triggers up, update array to store value as 1 and clear all others. When x triggers down, do the same. Then you could use firstof().

Re: How to disable x2 sending based on OSC_ARGS
Create a script triggered on OSC. Then create a conditional if(OSC_ARGS==your label)Dostuff
