Re: Proper Rendering Design: Division of Labor
As the Canvas is a web technology you can find and apply recommendations for better web performance .... One thing that may be relevant is the avoidance of 'state' changing too much ie continually changing colors whilst rendering. If possible do all the rendering for a particular color , then all of...

Re: Proper Rendering Design: Division of Labor
Have a look through he Canvas Tips and Tricks thread above . . .
And do a net search on Canvas performance techniques...
Yes it will be far more efficient to draw static stuff only once rather then continually redrawing it . . .
Only redrawing elements which have changed will be more efficient ...

Re: Behringer X32 OSC Support
This has come up previously and it seems to be an issue with the X32's not dealing with OSC bundles . . . Re: Lemur To Lemur, 2 iOS devices, NO COMPUTER
Absolutely...
If both devices are on the same network it should be quite straight forward ...
When you set up your MIDI target the other device should show up as options - select as needed..
OSC is simply a matter of setting the other devices IP and using port 8000 ....
Cheers

Re: Sending Sysex Data from Pushbutton
Yep, thought it was a setup issue somewhere in your system, was basically meaning to point out that Lemur does, and those projects do, send sysex properly . . . I really think you need to take a little time and go through some of the basic examples and tutorials in the manual to get a better fundame...

Re: iOS Wired Connection
Not sure if it a new capability added in recent system updates, if so then it may reach lemur ...
If you have a cellular capable device you should be able to do wired by setting up hot point and USB tethering ...

Re: Sending Sysex Data from Pushbutton
So what if anything changed to suddenly give you success? Might help others .... One of my examples shows how to send the x value 0 or 1, from memory . .. Oops didn't change the trigger properly, 2nd example change data section to trigger on 'any' Also sysex is not necessarily a simple process, chec...

Re: Sending Sysex Data from Pushbutton
Didn't we sort this out the other two posts on this same topic? Those projects send sysex properly. Why do you think it isn't sending sysex? Check with a MIDI monitor app on your computer or Lemur device. Check the manual for your device - have you set it up properly? Some devices can have sysex rec...

Re: Transmitting MIDI messages (in Hex) using Lemur Object
I think it goes something like this... The basic MIDI Mapping pane expects simple numbers only, not variables, and auto converts hex to decimal, and arraying contents is redundant so it removes them. However if you use the Custom MIDI message option, via the small MIDI port icon below the Project pa...
