Re: Switch needs to cycle again to turn off - fix?
You could use a Custom Button, with Mode=Pad, then change the Custom Button's 'color' attribute in a script to display the track status. The color attribute is a 2-element array. // set Custom Button color: OFF=blue, ON=red decl blue = RGB(0,0,1); decl red = RGB(1,0,0); setattribute( myCustomButton,...

Re: Any MIDI setups known to properly receive SYSEX into Lem
I used SendSX to try and find a pattern in the packets that are getting truncated. I varied the length of the packet sent to Lemur but could not get consistent behaviour. Generally, if the packet is less than 32 Bytes, Lemur gets it fine. Once it exceeds this size it is more often than not truncate...

Re: Sysex Dump Receive / Decouple MIDI input loop
Hi, As many people including me now found out, Lemur is incapable of receiving MIDI sysex data dumps of a certain size. As each MIDI message arrives as one variable in the scripting system, the full sysex message has to arrive in the Lemur before the next frame can be rendered. As the Lemur seems t...

Re: Any chance the max size of templates gets increased?
If for example your template is to control multiple fx with say a max of 20 parameters each , you only need to create the objects once, just move the required data to a "working array" that the objects access as and when required, objects can be hidden , positioned, as required for the fx being con...

Re: Any chance the max size of templates gets increased?
Yes, please increase the Lemur object memory. It's 32Mb now, and really could use 64MB. I've put about a year of work into my big Lemur template. It is a controller for the Fractal AxeFX guitar processors. The AxeFX is a rack multi-effect device with over 30 different effect types (e.g. amp, cab, de...

My big wish list
Here is my long list of suggestions, I know some of these have been suggested previously by other users. Sysex handling • Please fix bug that can cause incoming sysex messages to be truncated • Add support for larger incoming and outgoing sysex messages Data types and memory • Support larger arrays ...
Re: bug
I've run into similar issues trying to use bitwise operators. After some investigation, I realized that the Lemur's bitwise operators '&' and '|' do not work on floating point numbers. The solution is simple. Use the floor function to convert a floating point number to an integer before using bitwis...

Re: Light script to toggle multiple text objects
Try creating a script in the Fader object. Set execution to: "On Expression", "x", "any". This script will now run anytime the fader is moved. In the script, do something like this: // txt1 is the object we wish to show or hide // remember that fader.x value ranges from 0.0 to 1.0 show(txt1, x<0.5);...

Nick, thanks for the reply. Here is an example of what 3.2 did to my huge template, on an iPad2. Still no fix for incoming sysex?
Does Liine plan to fix the problem with incoming sysex messages?
There has been multiple threads about the problem. I created a template to demonstrate the bug.
Was any progress made towards a resolution of the issue in Lemur 3.2? I do not see any mention of it in the release notes.
Thanks!
