Ok I attached an example. There are different ways, I think this one is the easiest to me.
You can organize this method in many ways, I tried to spell it out for ya.
But basically it is using the function ctlout()

I think it's easier to get the size with the sizeof the x array though than with the attribute functions.

why not (1 - x) * 800?
So then you can do:
decl maxValue = 800;
blahblah = (1 - x) * maxValue;

Yea there are quite a few, though not all of them are general purpose. Have a look around the user library, Also it shouldn't be too difficult to make a basic one.
