Re: "else if" and Monitor Object
The Monitor has no 'x' variable, so that should probably be 'value'. The script should be set to "On Expression", with "value" as the trigger, so that it's run anytime the Monitor's value changes. Also you're using firstof here. It's meant to be use on arrays, and return the index of the first non-n...

Re: trouble blinking an led
Hi, Nice idea for a script ! Your only mistake here is that the 'light' value of Leds (and actually all objects that have a controllable light) is actually not an attribute, but an expression, just like x, y, z for Multiballs, etc. You can recognize an expression from an attribute in that it has an ...

Re: Using radio buttons...
The first argument to ctlout is the MIDI target to send the message. Usually that would be target zero, so :
Code: Select all
decl RadioVal;
RadioVal = firstof(OSC1wave.x);
if (RadioVal==4) ctlout(0, 22, OSC1pulse.x, 1);
else ctlout(0, 22, RadioVal, 1);

Re: Using radio buttons...
It sounds as though the problem you are running into is that using x[0..3] is just giving a 0 or 1 for whatever radio button which is, in turn, being converted to either a 0 or 3 since the value returned will either be on or off. Essentially, Lemur is reporting that a 1 is returned from whichever r...

Re: Knob to control Multiball speed
Hi, That's because the "speed" value of the Multiball is actually not an "attribute", but a standard "variable". Therefore, you set it with the following (simpler) code : Multiball1.speed = x * 100; Note that all variables such as speed can also be set in the corresponding object's properties/behaiv...

Re: Lemur Ableton Controller Overwrite Question
You don't have to map the button twice in Ableton. If you set the button on the second page to the same MIDI message as the one on the first page, they will both control the same parameter in Live.

Re: Variable not sent via OSC
Hi Easy way to debug in Max is to drop a message box in and wire to the right input . . . The message should be being sent as /Container5/Quant_switch/b which is what you need to route. Or use the custom address to make it whatever you want. Cheers MM I know debugging in Max, that's how I know this...

Re: Where are the Lemur Projects for iPad?
Hi,
You should be able to transfer them to your Mac/PC from the Documents sections for the Lemur app in iTunes, with your iPad connected via USB.
