programming techniques for huge templates
Hello, i wonder how you guys approach making big templates, like for a synth with a lot of pages & parameters. for example, the Korg Prophecy has well over 200 parameters to tweak, besides the obvious space needed for controls on the lemur i wonder how to make such a template in the most economic wa...

Re: Send Sysex
Hello,
attach a custom midi script to your button.
it would look something like:
on expression x
midiout(0,{0xF0, 0x1C, 0x01,...,0xF7});
there are some threads covering this topic, i know because i started almost all of them

Re: Controlab MIDI Template
The problem is with the difference in the way that the custom midi messages handle channel messages in relation to multiline scripts. Custom midi messages need to have the actual midi channel ranging from 1 to 16 and not from 0 to 15. Another thing I would like to ask you. I have modified your temp...

Re: sysex again, it´s geting complicated...
Is Lemur truncating the incoming sysex messages that take longer than one Lemur frame to receive? i don´t know but receiving sysex almost always returns a different amount of values here.sometimes a get the full array, then only 5 values, or 7 or 10 and sometimes nothing at all. i´m in no way good ...

Re: Negative and positive values on a bipolar knob (sysex)
this code gives me a -1 when x of the knob is on the left and a +1 on the right. decl lsb, msb; if(x>0) { lsb =x; msb = 0 & 0x7F; } else { lsb = x & 0x7F; msb = 1 & 0xF7; } midiout(0,{0xF0,0x42,0x34,0x41,0x41,0x01,0x1E,00,lsb,msb,0xF7}); i tried to extend it with range and x*99 but had no luck. cheers
