Re: Midi to Lemur / Midi syncro stopped working
Hello, I have recently upgraded to 3.2 and I notice that the iPad Lemur is not receiving MIDI information anymore. I am normally connecting the Macbook pro 10.6 with a ad hoc connection, but I have also tried the same test with a physical MIDI interface (Kenton USB MIDI) A simple test : 1) Create a...

Re: Next Lemur Update??
arraytostring will convert an array of ASCII values to a string, so here you'd have to first decompose your integer variable to such an array ('0' is 48, '9' is 57). It's a bit tedious but is the only solution until we add more string-related functions in the script engine.

Re: Next Lemur Update??
No I was reading directly from an array into a text object like so: setattribute(A_CurrTime,'content',A_SeqTime[A_CurFrame]); Ok, that actually can't work as you can only pass a string to a Text object's 'content' attribute. Passing an integer will not convert it to a string, and just leave the att...

Re: assigning a .x value to a list.
This is my best attempt to assign each item in the OSC arguments to each of the 16 text object's contents I have(in ascending order): decl i; for(i=0; i<16;i++); { setattribute(textitem ,'content',OSC_ARGS )); } This doesn't compile, can anyone help? Thanks. I see an extra parenthesis at the end of...

Re: Next Lemur Update??
Hmm, are you saying you can reproduce a similar bug with Text objects ? That would be using scripts to convert integer to strings ?

Re: Next Lemur Update??
I can confirm you spotted a bug there. A variable initialized with a positive constant keeps being interpreted as positive later on, even when it crosses zero. The fix probably won't make it in the pending update which has been recently approved, but in the one right after. Very sorry about this on...

Re: Midi issues
axel, I tried to get back earlier but we had issues with our internet provider. Here is a capture of MidiMonitor and as you can see there is no daemon running. I am also including my app.It is working mostly but I am currently cleaning up a lot of duplicate code and adding some new things. If you g...

Re: Midi issues
I'm surprised you managed to make it work in the past without the Lemur Daemon. The Lemur uses its own protocol to find remote MIDI ports, and therefore can not see a distant iMac session if the Daemon is not running there to "advertise" it to the Lemur.

Re: Midi issues
Hi joeb, I'm not sure I get this, are you saying you used to communicate with your iMac MIDI Session without running the Lemur Daemon ? The Daemon is definitely necessary here as the app by itself can't see remote MIDI sessions that don't use the Lemur Daemon protocol. Can you confirm this problemat...
