Re: Monitoring clip activity on leds
Hi The 2 ways I know of to do it would be to connect your template to a MIDI remote script (which are the python scripts that controllers use to communicate with Live via MIDI) or to use Max for Live. To use the MIDI remote scripts you will either have to hack/modify an existing python script that s...

Re: ok last question
ctlout() is a command, so you would use it on its own and not as an attribute. Open the user manual and it will have a section describing the ctlout() and other commands. If you want to know the available attributes of an object, you can look them up in the manual too or type the value in a monitor ...

Re: Numpad object and value fields
Well, for some reason I got in the mood to make one today haha.
I think it does what you wished for, and the 'x' variable is the number typed

Number Pad Object (canvas)
somebody wished for it, and I felt like making one
Very simple, could be stylized/added on to a lot.
TO USE* just type the numbers as usual. To delete a number, click on the display of the number typed and it will work as a backspace.
Use the 'x' variable to access the number typed

Re: Variables for OSC Path / help needed
hmm maybe I am missing something but I don't see your problem just create one container called "channel1" or whatever, and all the elements inside the container you don't need to number based on copying the channel1 container. just do : channel1/device/knob and copy the channel1 container. maybe I a...

Re: Numpad object and value fields
While you are waiting, you could pretty easily make this with even a pad object with some user defined functions and expression
even better and maybe easier, just make a canvas object, then you can even have a little display for your current value
then you could make it a calculator too haha

Re: How can I make a button or pad do 2 functions?
hmm, it seems like you want to go a little more in depth though. I mean, depending on your speed you could learn it very fast. You will save a lot more time than in the end trying to frankenstein everything together, especially if you want to customize everything the way you want it. But of course m...

Re: Getting Lemur to display automation changes?
hey,
You don't need to send a ctlout() message on the "else," unless you want to send the midi somewhere else.
So droman, you are receiving the midi from cubase, but it is jumpy?
how are you receiving the data from cubase?

Re: How can I make a button or pad do 2 functions?
Yes of course. You can do many variations of what you want. I think you should look up how to code conditions (if,then) and create and work with expressions. And how to work with basic scripts in lemur. Check out the user manual, learn your operators and some commands, or at least know where to look...

Re: How can I make a button or pad do 2 functions?
You can do both ways, which do you want? You could also do both of them in several different ways haha, it depends on what the function is maybe? A switch is one way for the first method. You can either have 2 scripts on positive/null transitions or 1 script with conditions. Then for each section (p...
